Christ the Lord Out: Out of Egypt

Anne Rice writes a fictional account of Jesus as a young boy. Unaware of who he really is, strange things begin to happen and he questions his mother Mary about who he really is and what is he supposed to do. A rather interesting read, very well researched by the author, this book takes you back in time to experience turbulence and war in Egypt and Jerusalem and the beginning miracles of Jesus.
