"The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society" by Mary Ann Shaffer & Annie Barrows

1. I liked the book after I got through the first (about) 30 pages. A unique way of telling the story.
2. I don't think I heard about the offshore islands of England being occupied.
3. Was a very inventive way of getting together within the occupation.
4. Elizabeth and Juliet were (I think) kindred spirits. They learned at an early age to be self sufficient.
5. Very good characters. They did what they had to do to survive. The Potato Peel Society was adhesive and helped many to accept the occupation.
